The short version: We are a booking and reservation service. When you book with us, we arrange your ride with a licensed, independent transportation company in our partner network. They operate the vehicle and employ the driver. We handle your booking, your price, and your support — and we stand behind the reservation we sold you.
San Diego Airport Shuttle Service ("we," "us," "our") is a ground transportation booking and reservation service. We arrange private airport transportation to and from San Diego International Airport (SAN), with pickup and drop-off anywhere in San Diego County and nearby areas.
We are not the carrier. Rides booked through us are performed by independent, licensed transportation companies ("transportation partners") that own or operate the vehicles and employ or contract the drivers. Your reservation is a booking made through us for transportation supplied by one of these partners.
By booking, you authorize us to arrange transportation on your behalf with a transportation partner and to share the information needed to complete your trip (such as your name, phone number, pickup address, pickup time, passenger count, and flight details) with the partner assigned to your ride. We select and assign the partner for your trip. Assignment may change up to the time of pickup — for example, if a vehicle becomes unavailable — and we will arrange a comparable replacement vehicle where possible.
Quotes and reservations are processed through our booking provider (bookridesonline.com). The price shown to you at the time of booking is your complete price for the trip as booked — no hidden fees. Your rate is locked in when your reservation is confirmed and does not change with demand.
Changes you make to the trip after booking (for example, additional stops, extra passengers, a different vehicle class, significant address changes, or excess luggage) may change the price. Gratuity is optional and at your discretion.
You may cancel a reservation up to 3 hours before your scheduled pickup time for a full refund.
Within 3 hours of pickup, the fare is non-refundable, because a driver has been dispatched and must be paid for the trip. No-shows — where the passenger cannot be located at the pickup location and does not contact us — are treated as late cancellations and are non-refundable.
To cancel or change a reservation, contact us as early as possible by phone, text, or email. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
Please be ready at your pickup location at the scheduled time. For airport pickups, provide your flight number at booking so arrival delays can be tracked. If you cannot locate your driver, call us at (619) 329-4182 before arranging alternate transportation.
Neither we nor our transportation partners are responsible for delays or losses caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including traffic incidents, road closures, weather, mechanical failure, or acts of government. You are responsible for selecting a pickup time that allows enough buffer for your flight, including traffic, airport check-in, and security. We are glad to advise on timing if you call us.
Vehicle capacity limits must be respected for safety and cannot be exceeded:
Book the vehicle that fits your group and luggage. If a group or its luggage exceeds the capacity of the booked vehicle, the driver may be unable to complete the trip, and the fare may not be refundable.
If you need an ADA wheelchair-accessible vehicle, request it at the time of booking so an appropriately equipped van is assigned. California law requires appropriate child restraints for children — tell us at booking if a child seat is needed. Smoking is not permitted in vehicles. Drivers may decline or end a trip where a passenger's conduct is unsafe or unlawful.
Our transportation partners are independent businesses responsible for their own vehicles, drivers, licensing, permits, and insurance as required by law. They are responsible for the operation and safety of the transportation itself.
Our responsibility is the booking service we provide: arranging your ride, the accuracy of the price we quote you, and supporting you before, during, and after your trip. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of a reservation is limited to the amount you paid for that reservation. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Please check the vehicle before you leave it. Neither we nor our transportation partners are responsible for items left behind, though we will make reasonable efforts to help you recover them if you contact us promptly.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
